Hi, I’m Claire Lee, a celebrant based near York, creating relaxed, meaningful ceremonies that are completely personal to you.

From weddings to vow renewals and other special celebrations, I provide heartfelt ceremonies shaped around your story.

Perfect for couples who want something authentic, fun and memorable (including for those perhaps wanting spiritual/traditional elements) without the rigidity of a traditional registry/church service.

After 27 wonderful years as a primary school teacher, I decided to take semi-retirement and look for something that would still feel just as meaningful.

The inspiration came from a very personal place. As a mother of two beautiful daughters, I realised how much it would mean to me to one day marry them when their special day arrives. That thought led me to train as a celebrant, and from the moment I completed my training, I knew it was exactly what I wanted to do.

Throughout my teaching career (and many voluntary roles), I have loved helping people feel seen, heard and valued. Becoming a celebrant allows me to continue doing just that—creating ceremonies that truly reflect each client’s story, whether that be a wedding, vow renewal, naming ceremony or funeral.

Many clients don’t realise how completely personal their ceremony can be. My passion is helping them discover that their ceremony can be just as special, meaningful, memorable and as unique as they can imagine.

My clients are people who want more than a ‘standard’ ceremony. They want something personal, meaningful and relaxed—whether that includes gentle spiritual touches, family traditions, or simply a celebration that reflects who they are.
