Bring the glow of genuine analogue nostalgia to your event. World Famous Screen Team hires out striking walls of restored vintage CRT televisions, each one playing bespoke, curated video content — paired with a live DJ for a look and sound you won't find anywhere else.

Founded by a TV production specialist (credits include The Repair Shop and The Apprentice) and an AV design engineer with a corporate pedigree spanning McLaren F1, HSBC, Microsoft and UBS, we bring broadcast-level craft to every install. Past clients include Hennessy, Beyond Retro, Graduate Fashion Week and the Edinburgh TV Festival.

We work across weddings, birthdays and anniversaries, brand activations, retail spaces, art galleries, nightclubs and live events, pub quizzes, and film & TV production prop hire — with three package sizes to suit any budget:

World Famous Screen Team started with a simple obsession: the glow of an old CRT television is something no modern screen can fake. Founded by Tony — a TV production veteran with credits on The Repair Shop and The Apprentice, and a DJ and promoter in his own right — alongside Stuart, an AV design engineer whose background spans McLaren F1, HSBC, Microsoft and UBS, WFST brings together two worlds that don't usually meet: broadcast-grade technical precision and genuine party instinct.

We'd both spent years working with the sharpest, cleanest screens the industry could offer — and kept coming back to the idea that nothing beats the warmth, texture and character of analogue. There's a reason vintage TVs still stop people in their tracks: that soft glow, the gentle curve of the glass, the slight flicker — it's a visual nobody's seen recreated digitally, because it can't be.

So we built walls of them. Restored, curated, and paired with a DJ and bespoke video content, our CRT installations have gone on to anchor weddings, brand activations, gallery shows and nights out for the likes of Hennessy, Beyond Retro and Graduate Fashion Week.

We're still the same at heart: two people who love a great party and believe the best atmosphere in the room often comes from something beautifully, unapologetically old.

Since we started, World Famous Screen Team has played some of the UK's best-loved venues and worked with brands who understand the value of doing something different.

On the venue side, you'll have seen our screens light up spaces like Concorde2, Shelter Hall and Player's Social — rooms that already have their own character, and where a wall of glowing CRTs feels like it belongs rather than being bolted on.

On the brand side, we've delivered both full event installations and bespoke video content for names including Hennessy, Mr Men, Beyond Retro, Graduate Fashion Week, the Edinburgh TV Festival and Helm Gallery — spanning drinks activations, fashion events, retail takeovers, broadcast industry gatherings and gallery installations.

Whatever the brief, we don't just turn up with screens — we create the content that plays on them too, curating and producing bespoke graphics and footage tailored to each brand and event, so the visuals feel designed for that room, that night, that audience.
