My passion for wildlife began long before Wriggly Roadshow. As a young child, I spent a year living in Zimbabwe, where I was lucky enough to experience incredible wildlife up close. That time sparked a fascination with animals and the natural world that has stayed with me ever since.

I’ve been keeping and caring for exotic animals since I was a teenager, turning a lifelong hobby into a career. After qualifying as a teacher, I spent around seven years teaching Animal Care before moving into a specialist college, where I taught students with additional needs. Helping people learn and grow has always been just as rewarding to me as working with the animals themselves.

You might be surprised to learn that I also spent several years performing with the circus after joining at the age of 16 as a juggler and acrobat. It was an unforgettable experience that helped build the confidence, communication skills and showmanship I bring to every animal encounter today.

Wriggly Roadshow combines everything I’m passionate about—animals, education and entertaining people. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the excitement on someone’s face when they meet an animal they’ve never seen before, overcome a fear, or discover a new appreciation for wildlife.

My goal is simple: to inspire curiosity, build confidence and help people of all ages fall in love with the natural world, one amazing animal at a time.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience working with and caring for exotic animals, and more than 12 years running Wriggly Roadshow, I’ve introduced thousands of people to the fascinating world of wildlife through safe, engaging and educational animal encounters.

My background includes qualifications in Animal Care and a degree in Teaching. I’ve managed exotic pet shops, spent many years teaching Animal Care in further education before moving on to teach students with additional needs, and have worked with a wide variety of exotic species throughout my career. This combination of practical experience, animal knowledge and teaching expertise allows me to deliver sessions that are informative, interactive and enjoyable for audiences of all ages.

Since founding Wriggly Roadshow in 2014, I’ve built a trusted reputation for providing professional animal experiences for schools, birthday parties, care homes, festivals and events, backed by excellent customer reviews, full DBS checks and £10 million Public Liability Insurance.

My background combines professional qualifications, practical experience and a lifelong passion for wildlife.

I hold qualifications in Animal Care and Teaching, and have over 20 years of experience working with and caring for exotic animals. Throughout my career, I’ve managed exotic pet shops, taught Animal Care in further education, and delivered educational sessions for students with additional needs.

I’ve also been fortunate to gain hands-on experience with wildlife and exotic animals in different parts of the world, including Zimbabwe, Australia and Mexico, working with a wide variety of fascinating species and learning from experienced animal professionals.
