The basic concept for Yim Thai was formulated in 1996 as an extension to our 15 strong Restaurant chain, all the recipes were perfected, cooking processes formulated, costings calculated and packing & logistical processes agreed, however we sold the group in 2003 under an arrangement not to return to the industry for 5 years.
During this time, we relocated to Bangkok, and set up Thai Market, opening a packing plant, set-up a 18 strong telesales department, resourced all the products that a truly authentic Restaurant would need in the UK. In 2007, we returned to the UK and the principles starting setting-up a new chain which now boast a total of 9 Restaurants. In 2015 Yim Thai Foods was formed and our manufacturing unit was opened in 2017.
