As an Independent Celebrant planning and conduct both traditional and highly personalised ceremonies. Your story is one-of-a-kind and my commitment is to ensure you have a bespoke experience that mirrors your personalities, values, and the extraordinary essence of your connection.
Any celebration, whether it’s a Wedding, Blessing, Civil Partnership, Vow Renewal, Commitment, Naming or other non-statutory ceremony, can be highly personalised. With an Independent Celebrant, the possibilities are endless. There are no restrictions, so you can hold it anywhere and at any time of day.
Celebrant-led wedding ceremonies can include traditional elements (vows, exchange of rings, music, readings), symbolic elements, such as handfasting (also known as hand-tying or tying the knot), or maybe a loving cup or sand ceremony. You can also have a themed ceremony if you like. Alternative and themed ceremonies are also available. The possibilities really are endless!
Did you know, in England, an Independent Celebrant cannot legally marry you; however, only the declaratory and contracting words must be spoken in a registration office for your marriage to be legally recognised? These legal requirements are very short and simple and can cost very little ( with 2 witnesses at a local registration office – known as 2+2) - do book early! If you have this brief legal section of your marriage carried out separately (often a day or so before your big day), the possibilities for your Wedding then suddenly open up. Your ceremony will be bespoke, the venue doesn’t need to have a license and you’re not constrained by wording or a framework.

Our Story
Choosing the right person to craft and deliver your ceremony matters, so here’s a little about me. I love tradition, but I’m equally drawn to the unusual, and above all, I believe your ceremony should feel entirely your own. Whether you want a traditional ceremony or something quite unique, I aim to create something meaningful, memorable and totally you!

I trained with one of the UK’s leading providers, Civil Ceremonies Ltd and achieved the National Qualification Level 3 Diploma in Naming and Couples Celebrancy, accredited by the National Open College Network (NOCN).
I’m proud to have been nominated for the Yorkshire Wedding Awards and I bring the same commitment to excellence to every ceremony I create. For your peace of mind, I am DBS checked and operate in line with GDPR requirements. I also stay up to date with the latest best practices and professional standards set by the Association of Independent Celebrants (AOIC), of which I am a member.
