About The Bearded Taco

The Bearded Taco is a unique food truck that is available for private hire. If you are looking for a catering option that will make your wedding / birthday or any general party stand out from the crowd then you have come to the right place. We love to travel and we love to eat and so we have attempted to create a taco menu using influences from the many countries we have been lucky enough to visit. We don't just offer traditional Mexican tacos (although they do play an important part in our menu and we are happy to create an all Mexican menu for you if desired), rather we use international inspiration to build on a Mexican foundation.

Expect offerings such as the German schnitzel taco, a Vietnamese bahn mi taco and even the classic British fish finger taco. We trade from a uniquely converted ford transit van named Contessa, who spent most of her previous life as a police riot wagon. We source all ingredients locally wherever possible and all packaging used is recycled / compostable. Everything on our menu is made from scratch including the gluten free handmade corn tortillas and we always offer at least one tasty and innovative vegetarian option.

We can provide private catering to suit all types of events. With over 10 years experience in catering and hospitality we can provide a professional and delicious alternative to sit down / buffet style catering. We are also happy to tailor the menu to suit your needs.

Excellent Service and food

We were very happy with the service and quality of food. Everything was cooked fresh to order and our clients enjoyed. There was good communication between us and The Bearded Taco made sure they had all the information needed to set up without any issues on the day. We would definitely use them again.

Amazing food, incredible people

We had the Bearded Taco as our wedding catering. The food was out of this world, but more than that the team brilliant. Sian really went above and beyond and I cannot thank her enough ! Running up to the wedding Sian was amazing, talking to me (a stressed bride) and letting me tailor how service worked and talking me through every detail. The day itself was probably the only rainy day all sumner meaning we had to think outside the box. Not only did Sian and team alter the way they served the delicious food to let my guests stay in the dry but Sian herself was just such a superstar and did everything she could to keep our perfect day perfect. All my guests are still talking about the tacos! Highly, highly recommend!
