About The Hungry Horsebox

At The Hungry Horsebox we work with you to provide your guests with quality buffet food of a high standard. Again if your event is themed then we will work to ensure we fit that theme. From Victorian, eras or even different locations. We will work to a menu and give you a price accordingly. We cater for dietary requirements and will work with you and your guests to ensure they are well provided for. If we can adapt a dish that can be suitable for various dietary requirements then we will adapt accordingly. We work hard to ensure that everyone has a good range of food and if we can adapt dishes so that all parties can enjoy, we will. We are able to provide..

Hot Buffets Cold Buffets Mixed Buffets Sandwich Buffets Vegetarian Buffets Dessert only Buffets Cake only Buffets ( we have a selection of 25 homemade cakes for you to choose from) High Tea (again as above we can supply various cakes, and teas) Corporate lunch Buffets

We also have a mobile converted Horsebox that we use and this allows us to provide a Mac and Cheese bar or a Deluxe Toastie bar. This is very popular with people for their evening guests for a wedding and we also attend fates and festivals across the South of England.

Typical Clients

We have supplied catering for Portsmouth University - (involved in a United Nations exercise) Mad Dog publications in Manchester on a photoshoot they were conducting in the Hampshire area. Torchlight Heritage - we provide them for High tea on open days and also provide a three course hot buffet for 50 people. This also a themed menu to go with the era of the evening. Eastbourne Music Festival Alton Music Festival Kids parties in the Park across the South coast Alton Regency Day RNLI charity events Southdown's Summer festival Plus we have names of people we have provided a private service for, from Hen party High tea to a family reunion.

These guys sent a text at 0630 for a 0730 event start to say they would not be coming. The booking had been in the diary for 6 months with constant communication including a few days before the event. Having read the above , it’s your choice if you feel they would come to your event or simply do the same as they did to me

I Understand that you were angry about the event. We contacted you at that said time as I did not want to go to hospital. I had Sepsis. It was not something that I would have picked to happen. Unfortunately people get sick. You can see from all my previous reviews that we are a good, reliable and well performed company that always put our customers needs at a high priority. Your review is the only bad review over 2 years and yes I can understand as to why you have given it to us, but this is not a true reflection as to who we are and how we work. Thank you for your review and we apologise for any inconvenience we may have caused you

Great service, wonderful food!

Annemarie and team did a wonderful job catering for our joint 50th in Winchester. The food was great and so was the service. They even provided bamboo plates and cutlery so we could avoid plastic waste! I would highly recommend them.

Excellent cold buffet

The Hungry Horsebox is a family catering business, who provided our wedding reception with a fantastic cold buffet. Everything was extremely professional, from the initial correspondence from Annmarie, who made sure every item we required, for the menu was provided. On the day everything was set up on time, with efficiency, coutesy, and a high level of personal customer service. Little touches like adding the tomato onsite to some of the sandwiches was noted, and one of my guests commenting that it was extremely rare to like all the food provided. For a 5 star company I will use Ann Marie as a caterer in the future, and won’t hesitate to refer them to people I know. Many thanks guys...Phil & Pauline.

Amazing food and service!

We used The Hungry Horsebox for our staff party and they did not disappoint! We had an amazing supply of food which was all delicious and homemade to a great standard. So happy to have experienced their food and they had some great vegan/veggie options as well. Thankyou so much!
