The Plump Hill Barn Dance & Ceilidh Band offers you over twenty years’ experience of playing for social occasions – weddings, anniversaries, Burns nights, parties, local celebrations, schools, conferences.
The band members are: Tim (accordion), Rob (accordion, harp and bouzouki), Alan (rhythm guitar), Chris (bass guitar) and Andy (dance caller and occasional tuba). We will also sing and encourage others to sing to provide a complete ceilidh evening when required, or just call enjoyable barn dances for every age group.
We play throughout our home area, which is the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and Wye Valley, and travel to the Cotswolds, the Welsh Marches, South Wales, the Severn Valley and the Midlands (and sometimes beyond). We are as happy in a village hall as in a specialist venue.

Great evening of music and dancing
Plumb Hill Band were excellent - the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all. For those who didn't choose to dance they loved listening to the live music and watching all the fun and laughter of those who did.

Perfect for the occasion
Very friendly overall. Caller was perfect for our mixed ages and little experience required to create a wonderful evening, including a blind friend to dance the night away

Brilliant, fun ceilidh band perfect for a wedding!
We loved having the Plump Hill Band at our wedding, it was very family and child friendly and got everyone on the dance floor. Our nieces were still 'roaring' the following morning! Thank you so much!
