About The Toasty Badger
The Toasty Badger was started in 2018 by Kim Gourd. She was born and bred in the west country from South Devon and is now living the busy life in London. Kim has spent the last 14 years of her working life dedicated to nursing but has now been inspired to become creative and start a daring new venture with a pop-up kitchen.
We aim is to create 'A Toastie like no other' by using the best ingredients all sourced solely from the UK. Our award-winning organic sourdough bread has zero additives and preservatives and is guaranteed to fill you up!
You can choose from three different wheels of cheese, Cheddar, Blue Stilton and Brie. The toasties we serve all come with other healthy ingredients such as rocket, red onion, spinach, flat mushroom and chives. These toasties are suitable for vegetarians.
And what better way to compliment these wholesome toasties than with some delicious chutney. You can choose from our Spicy Tomato and Caramelised Red Onion.
The Toasty Badger is a very attractive gazebo which runs all year round and we decorate as required and to suit the event.
We use biodegradable trays, cutlery and cups to serve our customers to keep it green.
Typical Clients
We have traded at many different street food markets and other events such like, Wild Child Festival, Eats from the Street, Crystal Palace Firework Night, Knebworth Winter Festival and more.
We are new to private event but have gained plenty experience to caterer and provide for corporate events, weddings and birthdays parties.

Delicious toasties and amazing service!
From first booking the Toasty Badger to the day itself, Kim was fab to work with and the communication was excellent despite a few last minute changes, which she happily accommodated for us, including special dietary requirements.
On the day, I heard the rave toastie reviews before I managed to try one myself - guests absolutely loved them and after having one myself I definitely agreed - the quality of the ingredients is evident. The service was also wonderful - professional and friendly despite the massive queue! We had so many compliments about the service from Kim and her team and of course about the toasties themselves. Everyone should have the Toasty Badger cater for their wedding - thank you so much!
