About Cooked From Scratch
We provide a full, bespoke service for buffets and catering in South Wales – we pride ourselves on providing what you want. For a party, celebration or special occasion – we can provide you with something tasty, different and tailored to meet your budget. All food provided will be cooked from scratch, including bread, sauces, dips, canapés and pastries.
Buffet and catering prices will depend on your specific requirements. Our sample menus are examples only – we can tailor everything to meet your budget, dietary and event needs. Dietary requirements will be catered for and not just provided as an afterthought. Please talk to me about any specific requirements you may have.
If you want hold a dinner party but don’t want to cook yourself, then don’t. We can help.
We will work closely with you to compile a dinner party menu that suits your budget, likes, dislikes and dietary requirements of you and your guests.
Typical Clients
We have a varied customer base for our business lunch buffets, from training companies through to Public Health Wales. They all keep coming back so we must be doing something right. Our private dinner party customers are usually those holding a one off event or staying in a holiday home. We are the caterer of choice for Hafod Lodge in Hensol.

A very helpful, friendly and efficient service from the word go - and excellent food much enjoyed by all who attended the party. The instructions accompanying the final preparation of each dish was clear, and the attractive menu supplied was much appreciated! We recently used Cooked From Scratch as the caterers for my mother-in-law's 80th Birthday celebrations and couldn't have been more impressed. Claire was a delight to deal with & responded to my many questions/requests promptly and highly efficiently. The food was gorgeous and was happily devoured & greatly appreciated by the 50 or so people present. Very highly recommended!!
Great food - good selection - lovely lady.
Claire is a lovely person who values quality food that is not adulterated with preservatives etc. The food looked beautiful and tasted good too. She and her helper Lara were so organised and quietly took over my kitchen to feed 40 of our friends 6 grandchildren for our wedding anniversary celebration. Lovely people to deal with and very satisfied customers! Thank you Claire for helping to make it a perfect day!
