Who am I?

I often ask myself the same question! So, I’m a mother of 3, that lives in Aberdeen with her partner, 4 dogs (yes 4! But to be fair, they’re mini dachshunds so combined they’re about the size of a lab!), 2 cats, and at one point had an African Grey Parrott and 2 Hermann tortoises!

I am an experienced Wedding Celebrant with Celebrate People, a Scotland based, international humanist and spiritual care organisation. I am authorised by the Registrar General of Scotland to conduct legal weddings and civil partnerships in Scotland; but also undertake non-legal Wedding Celebration for couples who, for example, married abroad and who now want to have a ceremony that includes their family and friends.

I am a bubbly individual, who loves a yap and enjoy getting to meet new people. I have the ability to put people at ease, and am just as comfortable conducting small, personal ceremonies at home, as I am to officiating at weddings with 400 guests. I cover the whole of Scotland, love trips to the Islands and the West Coast, and have married couples over the anvil at Gretna Green, Castles in the Northern most parts of Scotland, Torridon on the West Coast and of course my home ground of Aberdeen City and Shire.

With me, YOU are in control. YOU decide the length of the service, vows, readings (if any) YOU want. YOU can also have family members participate in the service itself (which we can discuss at a later point), but the bottom line is – YOU decide. YOU are completely free to have the service that YOU want, well, within reason. As long as it’s safe and dignified, I’m happy to comply. I’ll work with YOU to create a bespoke service to make YOUR day as special as possible.
