Sheffield’s hardest working DJ first started his quest way back in 1984, soon after the UK Ska scene was fading and Electro Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, and Disco were part of the underground UK dance scene.

In the early 90s armed with a recording contract from WAU MR Modo, Greg was already touring with top ambient, techno outfit, The Orb. Greg was asked to be the official tour DJ & he played alongside Alex Patterson, Thrash, 808 State, and top Belgium DJ Maurice. At the tour, Greg was throwing down funky Detroit Techno, Deep House & Acid House. Can you imagine warming up a crowd of 3,000 + people before The Orb kicked in?

Fast becoming Mr Sheffield Saturday Night, in ’94 Greg was asked to become resident at ‘Love to be…’ one of the UK’s legendary House nights, at the Music Factory in Sheffield. This instantly catapulted his career, touring all over the UK, Ministry of Sound, Hacienda, Amsterdam, and Ibiza (as featured in Loaded Magazine July 95, THE UK’S NO 1 TEE-TOTAL DJ). During this time his style had developed immensely and he was now incorporating new sounds into his sets. North’s hardest working and in-demand DJ, he can play many styles of music, in any club, to any crowd, and with the guarantee, no one goes home disappointed.

My musicology has always been eclectic and playing commercial pop, dance is just a normality. I can use a mic but nowadays people just want to hear tracks so if you are expecting Tony Blackburn I am not really the man despite having skills. I am up to date with all the latest music and great for kid's parties etc.
