Free Range Cooks

We are very happy with Free Range Cooks. From the moment of contact, we've found it easy to talk to Richard. We decided on a menu and price to suit our needs together. The food was delicious, people were going back for seconds! We're already book Free Range Cooks in for another event at our school - looking forward to it!

We used Free Range Cooks for our wedding. They were fantastic at communicating with us, particularly as we have many dietary requirements. We had a tasting session before hand which was so helpful in getting to meet with Richard and try the food and it was just as delicious on the day. There was plenty of food and many of our guests commented on how tasty everything was. Richard was so great to have sorting everything for us and they worked so well with the other suppliers we had organised. Delicious! Thank you!

Richard was fabulous from start to finish. He created a fantastic bespoke Asian themed menu for our festival wedding that had all our guests raving! “Best food ever” to quote. Rich was great at communicating about all the details and made the day perfectly stress free. They catered for not only our veggie guests but also vegan and specific intolerances without batting an eyelid. On top of that they were both lovely people and an absolute pleasure to have at our wedding. If only we had more events for them to cater!!!

Richard from Free Range Cooks cooked for us for a family lunch. His food was absolutely amazing, made with immense care and attention and was seasoned to perfection. He was very professional, looked after us all so well and left the kitchen cleaner than before he had arrived. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Hired for a birthday dinner party for 8 adults. Richard arrived in good time to set up the preparation. We had good communications beforehand which were always friendly and flexible . All the guests enjoyed the excellent food and the service was relax and professional throughout, including leaving the kitchen clean, tidy and spotless.

A successful wedding reception with the delicious mexican menu! Catered for 100.... 100 people didnt turn up but the food did not go to waste!! Everyone loved it and went up for 2nds and 3rds!! Brilliant professional set up and service. Definitely recommend :)

I found Richard through add to event, as I was looking for big pan catering for our wedding. He came up with a lovely menu for us - a mixed seafood and meat paella and a summer vegetable risotto, with beautiful fresh salads and breads. He also made individual summery puddings.

Everyone absolutely adored the food, it was truly incredible. He was very reasonable too. But the absolute best thing about Richard is that he is a lovely lovely guy.

We also asked him to come back to make bacon, sausage and egg baps for our camping guests the following morning. He even stopped to bring in some extra water for us as we had run out! He went above and beyond and I can’t recommend him highly enough!! Thank you Richard

Richard did an amazing job from start to finish! The pre communication has been excellent and on the night they were professional and created a great spectacle! I had so many compliments for this event for over 100 people, everyone was impressed! I highly recommend!

All my guests commented on how amazing the food was and on the great service - very friendly flexible and efficient.
The communication with Richard from the beginning and throughout the planning has been excellent - very quick to respond. I also really appreciated the flexibility as I was adding on more numbers!
The food choices suited all the different needs of my guests from vegetarians to the meat eaters and the quality was excellent.
The Hawaiian Cooking hut looked great and it was swiftly assembled and then removed at the end of the day
