gourmetpopup is a business run by husband & wife team Felan & Laura Hennigan based near Stratford, Warwickshire.
Felan has a wealth of experience as a chef catering for all styles and levels of catering. His impressive CV features roles in small bespoke fine dining venues along with high volume, high quality executive chef roles in the Sports & Leisure sector of contract catering.
Laura had a late call to the catering trade through a family business where her cool but savvy head for business was a huge asset. She furthered these skills in event management and venue dressing and Laura’s eye for style and attention to detail mean nothing is left to chance in ensuring your event goes without a hitch.
gourmetpopup grew out of our own frustrations with lacklustre food in our own area as we moved further into the countryside. We found despite being surrounded by some of the nations best produce, there was little in the way of contemporary or stylish food being served. So began, gourmetpopup - a catering business with an aim was to bring quality local produce to community spaces such as village halls, schools any communal space at the heartbeat of the town or village life with the added bonus of providing your own alcohol. We aim to provide the best quality food and service to areas without the need for expensive taxis, exorbitantly priced alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks or the need to appoint a designated driver!
From little acorns.......after a few key events in our own local community, the business has grown purely by word of mouth and a little help from Facebook. We have now diversified into providing all styles of catering whilst keeping our passionate core ethos of local produce, contemporary style of food and service and a fully bespoke approach, we have catered for many private functions including dinner parties, cocktail parties and wakes.
Whatever your occasion, event, gathering, you can be assured of the best quality and service.

Top Notch from start to finish
Wow, I cannot explain how amazing these guys are. They really took care in listening to exactly what we wanted and creating a bespoke package.
Communication was excellent from start to finish, we always felt listened to and accommodated by them both. They really do go above and beyond to create your day for you.
The food itself was just incredible. Every person we spoke to raved about the quality of the food and the taste - several friends who work in the wedding/events industry and every one of them said it was up there with the best of the best. How they created what they did from a village hall kitchen is incredible.
Fabulous meal
A great experience - from first enquiry, timely communication, help with menu choices through to a wonderful meal for our special family occasion. Lovely canapés, beautifully dressed table & 3 wonderful courses served to us by the friendly Laura, Gracie & talented chef Felan. Would thoroughly recommend them to cater for your party or special dinner.

From the first moment we met Felan and Laura we were blown away by the quality, dedication and personalised service they provided. The amazing food and service they provided for our wedding day was far beyond our expectations. Our guests were very impressed and we have received so many compliments on all of the elements of the food during the day. Our wedding venue allowed Gormetpopup full use of the kitchen and were impressed with the respect they showed for the facilities as well as the professional and organised way in which they worked, and are looking forward to working with them again as they will recommend them as a prefered caterer now!

Incredible experience!
Gourmet Pop-up catered our wedding and were brilliant from start to finish. Friendly and approachable they took care of every aspect we discussed, provided mind-bogglingly superb food and ensured that the whole event went off without a problem. The most professional and approachable team I've met in a long time. Guests commented that they felt "spoilt" by the quality of the food and I wouldn't disagree.
Phenomenal from start to finish
I cannot recommend highly enough and my words will not convey just how happy we were with their service. Let me start with the attentive service.
We started with an initial meet and greet and we just clicked with them. You can tell they want to do nothing other than deliver you exactly what you want and more.
We were then invited to an amazing taster session. The way they presented the food and drink and looked after us was just top class.
They also had to deal with us through the pandemic and literally nothing was too much trouble for us.
They catered for canapes, drinks, main meal, evening meal and more - all with nothing but the very best service.
Let me finish with the food! Just wow. Felan is an incredibly talented chef.

We were given a friendly, professional service from the first point of contact. They were most accommodating and understanding when our original plans had to change due to the pandemic. When we eventually had our party, the food was amazing and there was plenty of it.
Nothing was too much trouble, even the rain didn’t deter them.
I would definitely recommend this company.
If I ever have another event I will be booking Felan and Laura to provide the catering.

The whole experience with gourmetpopup was excellent from the first communication to our Family dinner on Saturday. Our grandson has serious allergies and Felan dealt with it in a very professional and caring way. The food and service on Saturday was amazing and the kitchen was spotless afterwards! Would thoroughly recommend them.
First class service
Gourmet Pop Up provided a delicious afternoon tea for our wedding reception. They helped us every step of the way with fantastic ideas and nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon ran so smoothly and the team worked tremendously hard to deliver a top class service. The food was delicious and plentiful. Would totally recommend Gourmet Pop Up and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We booked Gourmet pop up for my husbands 40th birthday party. This was to cater a 3 course menu for 30 people. Felan and Laura are such a great team. The menu was amazing, the presentation was perfect and it all tasted fantastic! Throughout the process they couldn’t do enough ... they sourced all the added extras we needed. We would highly recommend them to anyone who like us wanted to create a stunning dining experience in your own home. Thanks again GourmetPopUp! We will be in touch for the next party!
