I managed to book The Hogfather on short notice for our engagement party and he made sure that everything ran perfectly. We absolutely recommend the quality and variety of food, exceptional service and Mike's friendly personality! We had a hog roast with crackling, paella with all the trimmings, salads and vegetarian and vegan options which were all lovely. Our guests loved the food and started discussing making bookings for other events with him. The price was very reasonable. I am really pleased I chose Mike for our event. Our family and friends would highly recommend The Hogfather to anyone!

Mike arrived at 6am as promised, with a smile. He took time to plan how best to set up and then did so without waking anyone. He offered to help with other party prep whilst also cooking and setting up himself. The pig was perfectly cooked from scratch (no pun intended) on time and the crackling was incredible. The accoutrements were beautifully presented and tasty as was the chef and then he came inside to help us prepare our snacks and puddings, he even served drinks to our guests. After everyone was stuffed full of his gorgeous food, he packed up quietly, left the area tidy and made himself scarce. The whole party was a success due to his insight and input. We intend on using Mike again for our next party. We cannot thank you enough Mike

Mike, our absolute saviour after we were ripped off by another caterer.
Mike came to the rescue , he went over and beyond to meet our needs and our budget. The legend even got us a stunning watermelon sent over from Turkey, went down a treat.
The food was simply amazing, he catered to our vegetarian and vegan guests needs.
Made a beautiful Greek salad to accompany . The evening food was paella . Say no more. Absolutely faultless.
Would 100% use Mike again, he even joined us on the dance floor. He even brought along his lovely son who was also amazing with everything , I guess he led by example. We can not thank you enough xxx

I cannot recommend Hogfather Catering enough. Despite it being a very windy day Mike managed to provide delicious food for our guests. We had hog roast and paella with salads and rolls on the side. Mike could not do enough for us on the day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed all the food. There wasn’t much left at the end. I would definitely use Hogfather Catering for future events.
