Hootin' Annies Big Band

Hootin' Annies Big Band are a versatile swing band which can provide you with music to suit your occasion. We work with a number of vocalists so we can perform songs from Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, Michael Buble, and many, many more providing music that can suit any generation.

The band also can play for 40's and 50's evenings with a great range of charts from Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Louis Prima and Duke Ellington to the later music of Woody Herman, Gordon Goodwin, Bob Curnow.

We also have great covers of popular music of the Beatles, Norah Jones, Duffy, Phil Collins and many more!

If you have a requirement for more than just the main band, we can also provide smaller ensembles to play during drinks, or background music while you have a meal and then we can tailor the main event to provide music to suit an older crowd who may wish to waltz, quick step, cha cha etc to then playing some swing numbers for your guests to jive to and then later in the evening we can tailor it to more pop/rock covers that younger people may wish to dance to,

Whatever, your event, we will discuss in detail and agree the set list beforehand.

We can make provision for you or your guests to sing some numbers with the band but this should be pre-arranged.

We can take specific requests for first dances etc, but may need to charge extra if we need to buy it.
