Our Story
What drew me in was the documentary side of it. Real moments are always more interesting than staged ones, and weddings are full of them. The nerves before the ceremony, the relief afterwards, the hugs, the chaos and the celebrations later in the evening.
These days I specialise in relaxed documentary wedding photography. My approach is simple: observe what’s happening and capture it honestly, rather than directing the day or turning it into a photoshoot. I’m based in London but photograph weddings across the UK, often at registry offices, town halls and venues where couples want the day to feel natural and personal rather than overly formal.
Our Team
Working solo helps keep things relaxed and unobtrusive. Couples often say they forget the photographer is even there, which is exactly the point when you’re trying to capture real moments.
For larger weddings or when additional coverage would be helpful, I can bring in a second photographer from a small network of experienced professionals I work with regularly. This means more angles of the day while keeping the same relaxed documentary approach.
Experience
My background in digital media and web development also gives me a strong technical foundation when it comes to image processing, online galleries and delivering photographs quickly and reliably after the wedding.
I specialise in documentary-style coverage, focusing on natural moments rather than staged photography. Many of the weddings I photograph take place in well-known London venues such as town halls and historic buildings, where the pace of the day and the environment suit a relaxed, unobtrusive approach.

On the corporate front, my services extend to documenting various events, including conferences, seminars, and product launches. Here, my objective is to encapsulate the professionalism and dynamism inherent in such gatherings, showcasing key moments and interactions that reflect the ethos and accomplishments of the respective companies.

Jon is a fantastic photographer - his photos are wonderful and he’s really captured the magic of the day. He made us feel so comfortable and so often we just forgot he was there - enabling us to enjoy our day, have great memories of it but without feeling like we were doing a photoshoot. We didn’t want lots of specific shots so we really just let him get on with it and he went above and beyond to get so many amazing photos - running around everywhere and being really flexible when we ran over time.
