What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a bespoke accurate quote for your special day/event we really need to know the following few things. Your date of the event, how many hours you require our services, and location of the venue. these three are the main points of information that we require to help plan your photography needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always ask your photographers to see their own photos and check that the work they are showing you in their portfolio is all their own. After all, there is no point being shown a hundred photos that someone else took and then you end up with less quality images to what you were shown. It is also recommended that you meet your photographer/s and discuss your plans with them and get a feel for the type of person they are and how passionate about their work they are, after all, photographers are normally the supplier you end up spending the majority of your time with on the day, and they also are the people who will provide you with the memories that will last a lifetime from your day, so always ensure they are the ones for you.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Capturing Your Moments Photography was created through a shared passion for photography between father and daughter. We both love taking images and capturing special moments on camera. We trained professional gaining qualifications in photography. We always work with the client closely to ensure we capture everything they desire correctly and so that their photography is personalised for them. Photographs are the memories that last a lifetime and that is why our passion is to provide only the best photographs to our clients to provide them with the best memories of their day.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

With lots of bookings and enquires from Add to Event, it is so hard to pick just one! But the one I would mention would have to be a wedding we did in Daventry during the summer, the day was simply outstanding and we captured some breathtaking shots. The couple were both thrilled with all the photographs they received from their wedding day, as well their pre-wedding engagement shoot that was included in their photography package. They also loved the extra photo we had printed and put into a large A3 frame for them, which had a boarder around it to allow wedding guests to sign and leave a comment for the couple on the day. The reviews we had were so touching from the couple and guests.
