About Kavanagh's Catering
Our emphasis is on using as much local produce and home grown seasonal fruit and vegetables for excellent flavour wherever possible. All our dishes, cakes and desserts are home-made using free-range eggs and we never buy any commercially manufactured products.
We offer delicious menu suggestions for you to choose from or we can personalise a menu tailored to your taste and budget. We work closely with you to ensure your event is a success on every level. We can provide staff, crockery and cutlery and can deliver to your chosen venue or stay and serve. We have experience in working in all types of kitchens and kitchen tents for marquee events.

The evening ran smoothly and was a great a great success thanks to Emma’s seemless catering which ensured everyone had a truly delicious meal at what felt like excellent value for money.
What a Find!!!
I was so pleased to have found Kavanagh's. From the first contact through to delivery Emma was absolutely wonderful, guiding where needed and adapting when numbers increased by 10. The food was absolutely wonderful - all the dishes were enthused over, and demolished with gusto. Presentation was first class, and attention to detail was exemplary. The salmon came with a cold pack to be placed under the plate to ensure it remained chilled - it was a warm day. Guidance was given as to the best way to keep the fresh cream desserts should they not be eaten for a while. The lamb and apricot tagine arrived hot, in a slo-cooker, which just needed plugging in, and it kept beautifully, and the lamb was so tender. Thank you Emma. We'll be back!
Great service with great dignity
Emma provided me with a post-funeral buffet for 100 guests in Grays. The pre event communication was great and Emma fine tuned the little details that make all the difference at this difficult time for me - red napkins as that was Ruth’s favourite colour and some gluten free options for one of the guests. The food was plentiful and delicious and although not doing the teas and coffees Emma helped with those as well. Definitely recommended
Excellent caterer
Emma catered for our anniversary BBQ for 32 guests. Despite appalling weather she provided a delicious spread, efficiently and with good humour.
Many people complemented us on the food. The meat was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. We chose gourmet burgers, sausages, chicken skewers and salmon parcels - all delicious.
The homemade salads were equally good and interesting.
Deserts were home made , pavlova, cheese cake and chocolate and raspberry torte.
At the end of the meal Emma cleared everything away taking the dirty dishes with her - bliss.
I would certainly recommend her for her friendly, efficient and obviously high quality food.
