What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a competitive quote we would need to know the date and venue, also what type of menu they have in mind and what their budget per person is. Is it an inside or outside party, are there cooking facilities at the venue.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always do your research about the provider: are they insured, food hygiene trained, what experience do they have and can they provide references from previous customers.

I have been in the catering & hospitality business on and off for over 25 years, after having a family and always going back to this fantastic career. The love of food, creativity and meeting lots of great people always take me back to this rewarding career.
