What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide a comprehensive quote for balloon modelling, we must first have the date and location so that we can be sure that we are available and can get to the venue. We would then need to know what type of event it is i.e. a wedding, children's party, festival etc., and whether it is outdoors or in.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The customer should ask us what our work entails, what experience we have and whether we can provide any references. We have Public Liability Insurance for £5 million, and both have an up to date DBS which means that we are fine to work with children. Do other suppliers also have this?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Balloons started out for us a hobby, which has grown over the years to now become a full time business! We started off with balloon modelling for charity events and children's parties and this has now developed into room decor and table pieces too. Basically, if it's anything to do with balloons - we do it!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We get a lot of bookings through Add to Event which we would not otherwise have had. We did a wedding only the other day which was very successful. The client would not have heard about us if it had not been for Add to Event and hopefully these bookings will lead onto others. Thank you Add to Event!
