What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to be able to provide you our best possible quote could you please let us know, the times of the event you are hosting and the time we can get in to start setting up. What the access to the hall is like and are they any steps? Is there adequate parking for our vehicle whilst setting up or staying at the event. Some venues have pay and display car parks which may need to be added into the quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that the inflatables the provider is using are fully tested to the European standard. Also, that they have the correct insurance and ask what precautions they take when catering for an event (e.g. what they do to prevent electric shocks). It is also important to ask if they have a risk assessment and for the appropriate certificates.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We are a small, family run business run by a husband and wife team from Ebbw Vale, Gwent, South Wales. We have been running since 2011 and built up the business spending long hours and lots of money to get it to where it is today as one of the most friendly and reliable hirers in South Wales. We have children of our own, so know how important good value for money is when hiring fun things for children's parties.

We at A1 jump and Bounce love Add to Event and loved watching them grow, helping us along the way too.
