Help us to provide a comprehensive quote for you by letting us have, the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event you are hosting, potential venue and most importantly how many guests will attend. Even if it seems like a small detail, let us know so we can plan ahead. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a fabulous menu and create the best possible food experience for your event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always a tricky question for us to answer without sounding like we are bashing the competition. That said, always ask where the meat comes from and how it is prepared. It seems so obvious to ask but we often find ourselves quoting against substandard and in many cases cheap foreign frozen meat. A good caterer (and there are plenty on Add to Event) will proudly tell you where everything comes from and how it is prepared. Without giving too many 'magic' ingredients away.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Hangry Moose was born out of a pure passion for great flavours, killer portions and the need to get back in the kitchen. Our head moose comes from a fine dining background and has taken some influence from the greatest kitchens and chefs in the UK. The end result for us always is that first bite smile, nothing makes us feel better than watching the smile that comes after a client takes the first bite of a DBS Moose Burger........ priceless, and what it's all about.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Wowser, what a question. We can't answer this without offending all of our wonderful clients hahaha. That said a certain rugby club that shall remain nameless booked us for 100 people and 1500 turned up, our saving grace is that we use fabulous suppliers that made last-minute deliveries, and the head moose's wife even jumped in to help. Turned into the most fun we had had in ages despite being knackered after.
