What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a full and encompassing quote, we need to know the following;
Location of event and access to the event for our vehicles. If it's an indoor or outdoor event, the estimated number of guests, type of drinks required and if it's a cash bar or a as you drink bar, plus how many children will be present.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask about previous bars and events they have done. Have they done one similar to your requirements? Ask to view their social media pages for feedback from previous events. Enquire what equipment they use and do they have a trailer bar as well as a mobile bar. You need to know how long it will take to set up and breakdown after the event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Vine Tap Limited was formed in 2016 after we made the decision to return home to the UK from working overseas. My wife and over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, having owned pubs in the past. We know what people want and always enquire for any special drinks requested.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We had a great booking in Clifton for an 80th birthday party at an Italian restaurant. Due to the size of the van, we were able to park in the street and serve from the kerbside. We had numerous enquiries from people walking past seeing us serving draft Frizzante from the rear of the van. I have already recommended Add to Event to fellow operators and will continue to do so in the future. They give you access to events you would otherwise know nothing about.
