Type of event and location, date and number of guests - do they want me to stroll and mix n mingle or be seated, indoor or outdoor and Venue Location

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask to see samples - these are already supplied on the quotes I give, ask about timings of drawings
Ask how they draw, we supply iPad Pro digital or traditional.
Find out if they are happy to mingle or need to work at a table and best drawing times for the guests and do they table hop at dinners and can they be hooked up to screens at Exhibitions and what do they supply and what are you required to supply.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I was working as a humorous illustrator and Graphic designer when I saw the photos, a friend took in Paris over the shoulder of a Caricaturist drawing his 'victim' so you saw both the Caricaturist's picture and the person he was drawing - I decided then and there "I 'm going to do that" - It, of course, required a trip to Paris to do my own research :)) and from there on I rang local hotels to offer free gigs to get the experience of working live - I was booked straight away for 3 gigs at the Copthorne Effingham Park starting with Toyota. I then got on all the agent's books and spent the 1st 5 years continuously streamlining my 'live' business and then online business concurrently to create custom pictures

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

It was a great move to find Add to Event it has outlived other agents and to date, one Wedding stood out in Richmond as the bride wanted me to go with the Wedding Party, after the reception in Richmond, on a bus to central London to continue drawing on the bus and at their Wedding breakfast
