What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide you with a comprehensive quote, ideally we need, date of the event, a brief explanation of the type of food you would like, e.g. a buffet, sit down meal, hog roast. Plus, the estimated number of guests, the location of the venue & if it has a commercial or domestic kitchen.

We can then begin to put together a package based on these details.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would be looking for a quality caterer, not necessarily the cheapest. Small independent businesses can tend to be more responsive and easier to work with on budget targets.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have been a chef for over 20 years, starting in my fathers kitchen when I was 12 years old. I've been in event catering for the past 12 years and I simply love the different day to day aspects it entails. My passion for food and making sure every event goes just how my clients want them, makes me thrive in an industry I adore.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I'm fairly new to Add to Event, and haven't yet been booked on here yet. However, I've already had many responses to quotes that I have sent. It's a really good way of finding more events to add to my business. I look forward to doing my first event booked through Add to Event.
