What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We would need to know: where and when, of course, the age of the children and type of event. We can then advise on costs and the best entertainment to suit.

When booking a children's entertainer, it is great to have recommendations, so check out reviews and their website for information. Smartie Artie would provide a mixed program appropriate to the age group; so make sure you check your entertainer has the skills and adaptability needed. Cheap is not always best. - a reasonable cost indicates an entertainer that is confident in their ability to provide a good service.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Smartie Artie has been entertaining children for well over 50 years with comedy magic, puppets, games and balloon modelling which is a formula that always works! Smartie Artie started in St Albans with just one man, and became so popular there has been a team of Smartie Artie entertainers ever since. Our aim is to provide a party that is great value and will be remembered forever.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Only recently Smartie Artie attended an exciting birthday party in the Buckingham Golf club. Other engagements we have confirmed through the Add to Event platform have proven diverse and successful.
