What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to our client, ideally we need the event date, duration of the party/entertainment, any special requests or add-ons that the client would like i.e. Disco Lights or Parachute Games. An estimate of the number of children attending and the area where the party will take place. We are very to take any requests and will accommodate them wherever we can! Once we know exactly what you want we can make your party bespoke to your needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My top tip would be to research. Look at their reviews on Google, Facebook their website. Make sure you know everything they have to offer. We are very happy for you to drop us an email or a phone call and have a chat with us. It's a great way for you to get to know us and for us to get to know you so I always think it's a good idea to have a conversation with your provider whether virtual or on the phone. That way you can really get a sense of the company, the people within the company and can feel more relaxed in the service you are being provided with.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have worked as a party entertainer for over 10 years. I have worked in the educational sector for just as long leading drama classes, educational workshops, teaching phonics, running science clubs, after schools clubs and more. I developed a wealth of knowledge, experience, techniques and generally had fantastic fun and rapport with the children I worked with. I developed my own games and entertainment and so decided to start Kazam Parties to put all of that to good use and supply the most fantastic entertainment far and wide. I now personally train all of our entertainers and hire the most fabulous and fun people to help extend our work even further and bring fantastic entertainment to even more children and their families.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Despite being very new to Add To Event we have already had lots of fantastic bookings and have been able to extend the reach of our work. Our parties are always fantastically received and it's such a joy to entertain at all of our parties. All of the smiley faces from both the children and adults is remarkable feedback on our work and makes us very happy. A real highlight for me was entertaining at a 6-year-old boy's party. The Birthday boy was deaf and had cognitive hearing aids. I wore a special microphone to help him hear what I was saying and to block out some of the other noise that might interfere with his hearing and I'm pleased to say that he was fully engaged in all of our entertainment. You would have had no idea that he couldn't always fully hear everything that was going on and it was such a pleasure to see him having the best Birthday and running around laughing and playing with all of his friends. It was such a pleasure to do that party and see everyone having such a fantastic time!
