After winning a national bartending competition it seemed that starting a mobile cocktail bar was their destiny. You can be sure they still have the flair and skill to really make your event special.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a succinct quote to a customer we would need the date and location of the event, the estimated number of guests and the type of hire required. We love designing cocktail menus based on clients favourite spirit, flavour or even a colour theme that the event has.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask what recommendations the supplier would make to ensure that your event goes with a bang. Knowing the menu and the suppliers experience really helps to give a sense of reassurance that you are being looked after. Is the proposal realistic, are quotes that sound to good to be true, exactly that?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Capital Cocktails grew from a passion for making great tasting drinks and interacting with a variety of guests. Our first event came after winning a national bartending competition (over 15 years ago now). Working with event management companies, we saw an opportunity to branch out on our own. Service to our guests starts with the planning and preparation to ensure that we are set for success for the first guest to try one of our drinks.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have only recently joined Add to Event as all of our events were booked directly through word of mouth and recommendation. Our experience of the platform so far has been terrific, we have had good interactions with prospective clients and have our first events coming up in November. I would and have recommended the platform to friends and family for events that they may be booking and have included the logo as part of my website.
