What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
The essential event details required for a quote are the same as usual: date, timings, number of guests, location and the special occasion. However, we do customise every offer and therefore the more information you can provide on your overall vision for the event will help us to bespoke the offer. We like to get to know our clients to understand them and also offer a professional event management service to guide you through the process.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research. Mobile bars can be better value than regular venue bars however you need to make sure you pick the right supplier. All-inclusive packages or bespoke menus mean give you more flexibility on what is served but make sure you pick a supplier that allows you to make your own choices while guiding you using their experience on what works well in your chosen venue. You should have the opportunity to personalise/tailor the cocktails and match the offer to what suits you and not just a standard offer. One of the best things about a mobile cocktail bar is the entertainment & photo opportunities - make sure your provider sends bar staff with personality as well as great bar skills. Lastly, ensure you pick a professional & responsible service – the company needs to have the appropriate licenses and pubic liability insurance for your type of event.

Ipanema Events was born out of a passion to provide quality bar services in any type of venue. We love to deliver memorable experiences that are unique and special. We, the founders come from 10 years bar and nightclub management as well as many years in high-level event management, so we wanted to combine these high level services in one. Our vision was to maintain the standard of the top London cocktail bars in a mobile form for any size event. With a variety of completely unique mobile cocktail bars, our portfolio of clients includes weddings, bar mitzvahs, corporate events and festivals.
