What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

As much information as possible :) For the most accurate and comprehensive quote we need the amount of time we are needed there to serve, how much time before and after are needed for set up and take down, what we need to bring (equipment and consumables) versus what will be supplied, how many staff you need and uniform requirements AND anything else you may find to be helpful. As long as we get as close to an exact idea of what you are looking for we can send a fully comprehensive quote with breakdown of costs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First you are going to want to see not only if they service your area but how far they are coming from, traffic is a bit unpredictable. You will also want to question expertise and quality of their food and drink. IE we do provide matcha, we bring ceremonial grade, organic matcha to events so it is clean and fresh tasting. You will want to be explicit in terms of equipment as well.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

As a remote worker, our founder Deepak discovered that most of his time was spent working out of cafes and various coffee shops. None seemed to have the PERFECT fit though. From this, Pearl Lemon Café was born.

Pearl Lemon Café is the Pearl Lemon Group’s very own coffee shop in London. Finding the perfect place to relax and work remotely can be a challenge. That is the exact problem we have aimed to solve.

From here we noticed plenty of businesses and people near us wanted coffee and canapes for their events. Thus Pearl Lemon Catering was born. Serving everything our cafes have to offer and then some.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are starting to get some consistent bookings through the platform. So far one of the best has been for an upcoming 50th anniversary. It feels great to be a part of such a special event. the event is in a few weeks and we are prepping for the event and getting ready. We hope for a sunny day and help bring some extra smiles to the guests and happy couple.
