What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to generate a comprehensive quote to a customer, we need to know to know the event date, location and which services are required. From here we can build a customised quote to meet our customers needs. If the package needs to be changed or services need to be added then that's fine, our team are always on hand to answer any questions.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Our advice would be to get to know your suppliers. Find out what they offer and ask them what they recommend. We always look to get involved in the planning and preparation for the events as much as possible to help our customers and learn more ourselves. Our advice can save money, time and stress. One thing we would say is to make sure you feel comfortable that the company you choose can support you with any last-minute changes or issues that may happen during the run-up to your event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

MTR Productions began from Matts passion for music and DJing. Initially through DJ'ing the business grew into offering more all-rounded packages to give customers a stress-free option to booking wedding and event entertainment. This same passion and enthusiasm has allowed the business to grow year on year through referrals, relationships built with other suppliers within the industry and our ability to adapt to new trends and requests.
