We love what we do - making venues look amazing by creating bespoke decorations and displays is the best part of our job. That's why we don't do packages. No two weddings are the same so why should our quotes be? Tell us what your idea colour theme is and how we can make your event special to you! Tell us what you need, where your venue is, whether you'll be in a tipi, marquee, village hall or even a horse shelter as well how many people you are expecting. 20 people or 200 people - it doesn't matter, let us use our expertise to give your event that touch of sparkle. What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions! How long have they been trading? Do they have real reviews by real clients and are people happy to recommend them? Do they have insurance to provide the services they say they can? Do they offer payment options and have good communication? If you can't get hold of them quickly and they're slow to reply, can you be certain they will make your event a priority? It's your money you have worked hard for so make sure your supplier puts you first.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We have been working in the hospitality industry for years, recommending other suppliers to provide decorations and displays. We already provided a great bespoke service through our bespoke wedding bars and we found that our clients didn't want multiple suppliers at events as it gave them more to worry about on the day and so DIY event hire was born.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event is great as we can see exactly what type of events we can quote for. We have done some amazing weddings and met some fabulous people along the way. We did a fabulous farm wedding in the summer - from providing the tea cups and candy cart to the 200 metres of vintage bunting and personalized signs and props we loved every minute and the attention to detail via our individual approach made the day so special. We have learned so much and every event is an opportunity for us to grow.
