What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To allow me to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer I need a few basic, but essential details. Firstly I need to know the date of your event - I only accept one booking per day so it's imperative for me to be available.

Ideally, I'd like to know the name of your venue - this will allow me to be precise when describing the services I can provide and even share some photos with you of previous events.

Every event I undertake is different in many ways. So do let me know about as much as possible so I can be creative with the options I offer you.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly ask the provider if they are a full-time DJ or if they run their DJ business as a hobby. A full-time DJ will generally have more experience they can share with you and more time to devout to your wedding.

Generally my clients don't spend their lives booking DJ's so ask what the provider can offer you - you may be pleasantly surprised that one DJ can offer a range of services well beyond playing music, Dealing with one person for a range of services will undoubtedly safe you time and potentially money as well. You'll certainly have less suppliers to deal with and that is a great thing.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I initially began my business as a nightclub DJ. I was actually DJ'ing in venues that, as a customer, I wouldn't have been old enough to go into! I travelled the UK and have performed at some very well known venues with some very famous club DJ's.

From niteclubs I began working at corporate events. The confidence working in a nightclub brings is ideal for corporate clients who require a confident individual to present and entertain at their events. Working for a huge range of household names I have worked throughout Europe including Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Canne and Paris to name a few.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

This ones to follow! I've been using Add to Event for two months now and have already secured a number of bookings that I cant wait to deliver. With the nature of what I do means I'm booked a long way in advance but I'm looking forward to my first Add to Event booking and hoping for many more.
