What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide an accurate quote we need three things 1. The event date 2. The venue is very important as we charge extra for upstairs 3. The timings everything is timed until 12.00am when most music licences expire

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Again I would ask him or her 3 things 1. what experience have you had in my particular field ( there is little point asking a teenager to play music for the 1960s or 70s) 2. Do you charge extra for carrying equipment upstairs 3. ask them for photos particularly as the setups aren't all the same

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

20th Century Sounds started for the Queens Silver Jubilee way back in 1977 with a set of FAL twin deck bought from my mothers catalogue an infra red light bought from my brother and a Perspex cover and 20th Century Sounds was born today there's a whole new set up the twin decks and the lamp are long gone we're up to date with mp3 and CDs so if you're looking for a party with experience and a budget price then give us a try ...you won't be disappointed
