What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Where the event is and the type of event are the first things we need to know. Next, it's the number of guests this is for and if there are any special music requirements. Finally, payment method, budget spend and the type of venue that the event is to be held in.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask about the process or procedure for the day of the event, this will give an idea of how professionally run the event will be run.

Ask the price and if this includes everything, with no extras on top.

How many people might attend the event and what type of equipment or vehicles might attend?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My humble start was by chance, our local boys club disco on a Friday evening, the Dj gave me a chance to spin a few discs once or twice, he liked what I was doing and offered me his permanent spot.

He had had enough, gave me his entire record collection and from here I went on to become resident DJ at one of the biggest nightclubs in Leicester called Baileys (housed 2,000 people on a night, was full most weekends.

Went on to become a resident DJ in many nightclubs around the midlands. Finally decided to do Pubs and Bars work, moving into a Mobile set up offering the professional services I do today. I love music and its my passion.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Mostly my booking go swimmingly well, as I am a details person. I always spend quality time researching into the type of event, what the expectations are of the client and then meeting those on the day.
