They are based in Glasgow but have provided entertainment throughout the UK and abroad. They share their advice on what to look for in a wedding entertainers/DJ to ensure the success of your event.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For a comprehensive quote, we need the event date and location to ensure that we are available and also to see what amazing venue a client is looking for. We ideally would love to get to know the client first of all via a phone call so that we find out what makes them tick and what they want at their wedding and also it is useful to know what they don't want!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The main thing to find out is to ask the wedding DJ what they will do to their wedding to make it amazing. There are so many DJs out there that say they are wedding DJs but it's such an important moment in the couples lives that it has to be the right decision. I would definitely say that the decision should not be based on price but gut instinct. If after reading about the company and after a chat they feel happy with their choice, go for it! Just remember that the local pub DJ might not have the experience, focus, dedication and commitment to make their wedding one to remember.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Every wedding or event needs quality entertainment so that you and your guests all have a memorable time, for the right reasons…it is what we do best!

We are a small team of experienced and professional entertainment hosts (DJ’s) based in central Scotland. We take pride in our individuality, customer service, attention to detail and high standard of equipment and entertainment. We refer to ourselves as entertainers, as we are fun and interactive – not just DJ’s. All of our entertainers regularly attend training courses to further develop and enhance our performance.

We have always loved music and after starting my career in DJing over 30 years ago at my sisters 9th birthday in 1990, I have always had a passion for making folk dance and feel amazing. In 1998 I worked in Walt Disney World in Florida and this is where my DJing career started. The rest is history:)

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have only recently joined Add to Event but that doesn't mean we haven't got years of experience under our belts. We are looking forward to many years of bookings and amazing events with Add to Event
