What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally I need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event.

From this, I can use my experience and expertise to put together a suitable quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Go for a proffesional! Check to see if they are a member of Equity, view their website, check out any live videos... these things would help to make sure you would not be let down for your event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My parents were in showbusiness even before I was born, so it was inevitable that I would follow them. I absolutely love my job, whether it's on stage or doing Close Up Magic, there is no better feeling than making people laugh ...and getting paid for it is a bonus!
I have been a performer for over 40 years, and I never get bored of entertaining.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

My bookings usually come in through recommendations of people who have seen me perform. But even though I am fairly new to Add to Event, I have had some pretty good bookings through the site and I would definitely recommend it to others.
