When booking a Face Painter, ask for examples of their day to day work and working kit. Look at a website, not just a social media page. Check to see how many faces the Painter can paint in an hour.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

After leaving a career in advertising when I had my children, I discovered face painting after being volunteered at the School Fair. It became a bit of an obsession and I was lucky enough to go from it being a hobby to a job that I very much enjoy. Having face painted now for 20 years, I can't think of a better job to have.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had several bookings through Add to Event, one was an adults Halloween party last year. Lots of Day of the Dead faces were painted. I also did a community event in Heston, which unfortunately had very bad weather. Everyone rallied around and moved everything inside, so the event could carry on. It turned out very well and lots of faces and arms were painted as well as glitter tattoos. I have recommended Add To Event to lots of my clients and suppliers.
