What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable us to provide a a realise quote to an organiser we need to know as much as possible about the event. This ensure that we understand the requirements and can incorporate these requirements into a realistic quote. The date, times and location make a good start - but organisers often don't provide much detail about the location and style of their event. Without detail about the style of the event it is very hard to know what things the organiser may like which can mean the information we give them could contain a load of unnecessary "blurb" as we won't have been able to refine our offering.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Provide as much information as possible and speak to a range of suppliers rather than just going from a quotation. Our goal before contracting with a customer is to ensure not only we fit the customer's requirements but that we can do their event justice with our offering.
Ask in detail about what will be provided and how it will be provided. Ask more details about the finer details such as storage, staff, equipment etc. to make sure the supplier can handle your request.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We are Conner Blain Devlin Farndon and Elliott Brian Le Sage Taylor and in 2018 we founded The Blain Le Sage Bar.

The name 'Blain Le Sage', English meaning 'Blain the Wise', was thought up while slightly intoxicated on an Ibiza Rocks balcony in 2015. Originally the plan was to become master DJ's Kevin and Perry style! But 3 years later, through our connections with the White Hart Campton, we found ourselves running mobile bars for local events when the (sober) decision was made to create the ultimate horsebox bar and mobile bar service.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
