What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote for a client, we would need to know the location, and date of the event. We would also need an idea of how many people will be attending the event. We have Craft Beers on tap so our quotes are based on craft beer been supplied by us. But if you want other drinks, we are able to do that, and can give quotes based on your drink requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have in mind what you are looking for. It's your event, and the supplier should be able to provide what you want. If they cant, there not the supplier for you. Ask the provider about what types of drinks are provided. An example of this is we provide our own beers brewed in our very own brewery. Don't be shy to ask for a sample, if you're not familiar with the beers on offer.
It's important to ask if your deposit is refunded when a certain amount is spent at the bar. This could mean that in effect you hire a bar for free for your event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
At Fairy Glen Brewery we have a passion for fine craft beers. And we love taking our beers out on the road, and sharing them with new clients. We're a growing brewery in South Wales, and we are happy to travel anywhere to spread our brand.
It's fantastic turning up at the event, with our mobile bar, and watching the reaction on peoples faces when they taste one of our cold, crisp beers for the first time.
