What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To be able to provide a serious, thought out quote we need a few essentials, we need the event date, then a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests (including number of children), and the venue or idea of where the venue is planned. We also need to know whether it's an indoor or outdoor event and if you have any special requirements such as vegan or gluten-free beverages.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We recommend that customers interested in hiring a mobile bar consider the site of their venue, for example, a level surface and ease of access are important considerations. We also suggest that the approach to the bar is a sound surface, smart footwear and mud aren't a good mix! The more information you can give us, the better equipped we will be to meet your needs, such as the theme/vibe of your event. Serving cold drinks requires refrigeration and refrigeration require electric, so consider the position of the bar in relation to a mains hook up or generator. Since 1978 the founder of this family business has been an industry professional working with the soft drinks and brewing trade bringing all this experience and knowledge to create the Horsebox Bar. We pride ourselves in our service, presentation, selection of beverages and fair pricing as well as our technical expertise. We're driven to provide excellent customer service with an eye for detail. Nothing gives us more pleasure than to perfectly compliment your special occasion.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
A recent booking arranged through Add to Event was to be a country-styled wedding with a barn reception. The Horsebox Bar was complimentary to the aesthetic. A perfect English summer's day with uninterrupted sunshine and a balmy evening, a blessing for the happy couple and their guests. The hot weather and cloudless skies were welcome but not without their challenges for us. Despite the heat, we served cold, refreshing drinks to our happy and thirsty customers; a day and an evening to remember.
