What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide the most detailed quote, we need information about the venue, whether there are water and electricity available, how many people we’d be catering for, the kinds of drinks that guests are likely to want and if it will be a partially/fully paid bar by the host or done on a PAYG basis. We also need the date and venue details. Any additional information about dietary requirements/allergies will help us to advise on the most suitable drinks.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at the size of the vehicle and whether your location can accommodate it. Always ask the venue first if an external provider is allowed, as some have restrictions. Also, inquire about the types of drinks that can be provided and check how flexible the supplier is in getting any specialist drinks you require.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started the business to supplement an existing business we already own - Something Sweet. Having built that up for over 3 years, we wanted to expand our services and felt that a mobile trailer would be a perfect fit for weddings and events. We’ve always prided ourselves on excellent service and quality and have won numerous awards that shows that. We also have all 5-star reviews for our other business and want to make sure that continues with Ghandis.

Our experience on Add to Event so far has been excellent. Communication is really easy and allows us to be responsive whenever you have any questions.
