What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a bespoke quote we need to know the date of the event, how many guests, what drinks you want providing. It's really important we know if you are looking for an outdoor bar as we have a horsebox and we will need access to the site & whether you can provide electricity and access to water. It would really help us to know how you want to pay for the bar on the day, we will work with this to provide a quote just for you! if you've hired a venue - have the venue agreed to have a bar on site

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider if they are registered, food hygiene rating and insured, ask about their eco-friendly policies. Do they charge extras such as travel, minimal spend? Do they have a sample menu, can they provide particular drinks /brands on request? Check out reviews from previous customers.

Yahkeyda Bar was dreamed up out of a love of festivals and relaxed family gatherings and a desire to provide a great, relaxed fun service with good quality products and service at a fair price and with respect to our environment. We are a family run business the horsebox Bar was converted with the help of family and friends of the family but all local craftsmen! and wow were we happy!! We specialise as a Gin bar and where possible we stock and promote locally produced Gin, we are flexible enough to be able to provide a range of other bars from a fully stocked bar to Gin / Cocktail or Prosecco Bar. We are very proud of our business and go over and above to ensure that our customers have the most enjoyable day!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We were lucky enough to provide the bar for a wedding in the Brecon Beacons, it was a beautiful spot, the wedding was small and beautifully personalised, we provided the welcome drinks and full bar of the rest of the day, the bride looked stunning and the guests were fabulous, we worked well with all the other providers to bring it together for the happy couple!

I was happy to work with the bride ( she was brilliant ) we devised 2 different welcome drinks plus a 'mocktail' for the children and the non-drinkers! The wedding was held in an old schoolhouse, we totally got on board with the theme providing the welcome drinks in little milk bottles with vintage (paper) straws & table cloths, our customers seem happy that we use eco-friendly compostable cups and straws & continually consider how we can reduce our waste!
