For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need to know where the event is located, the type of event being held and the number of guests attending. secondly, if there are any special dietary requirements, a payment method, budget spend per head and the type of venue that the event is to be held in.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a provider, check out the profile page, their website, social media and reviews, this will tell you about how far the provider has gone to try to sell their product.
Then ask about the process or procedure for the day of the event, this will give you an idea of how professionally run the event will be run.
Ask about the price and if this includes everything, with no extras on top. How many staff might attend the event and what type of equipment or vehicles might attend?
Ask whether the supplier has insurance, public liability and a food hygiene rating, also ask to see a copy of the certificates and any training they hold must be up to date.
ask the supplier about utilities they may need such as access to water or electricity. do they have hand washing facilities?

So, where did it all begin? Spudlicious is the brainchild of friends and business partners
Serdar and Jono, who have been involved in the catering industry since Serdar came to the
UK in 2010. The pair have long been harbouring the idea to bring little-known Turkish street
food to the UK. Recognising Brits’ love for a traditional jacket potato, they decided to create a refined, innovative version of this classic delicacy – one that takes a humble recipe and
elevates it to new heights.

2021 may not seem like the most auspicious time to embark on a new venture but
somehow the stars aligned and Spudlicious was born. Sedar and Jono haven’t looked back
since! Since launching, Spudlicious has built an impressive portfolio of clients and our
catering services are quickly becoming one of the UK’s most sought-after alternatives to
conventional events catering. The vision for the future is to expand Spudlicious, opening
local branches and franchises and spreading the love of the next-level baked potatoes
