What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide a comprehensive quote, we simply need the event date, venue postcode, delivery and pick up times. We are pretty flexible with delivery and pick up and can even deliver the day before the event and pick up the day after the event if mutually convenient at no additional charge! Our quote is all inclusive with no hidden charges.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Request the condition of the products, at e20lights we guarantee our products will be delivered in a clean and immaculate condition. Ask if the products are PAT tested and if the supplier holds a public liability insurance, at e20lights we are good on both fronts. Ask if items can be collected and returned by customer. At e20lights we offer the possibility of picking up items from our storage in Greenwich, this reduces cost to customers as we then don't charge a delivery fee,

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I was at an event myself (I arrived a little early) so I saw the party planner decorating and putting up balloons. As all party planners will testify this can take some time! Suddenly another supplier walked in with a light up number and within 60 seconds set up was complete and they were out of the venue! In that very moment the idea was formed in my head. After some research I decided to take the plunge and I haven't looked back since!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Within days of joining the platform I had already secured 3 bookings! To say I was very delighted would be understating it! When we delivered our lights for one of the bookings, the client was amazed at the quality and condition and felt she underpaid :) To her credit she was sure to tell all her guests about us and recommended a booking with us!
