What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

It's handy to have a date, start time and if the service is required indoors or outdoors? Unlike some of our competitors, we can take a Mirror up a staircase. The choice of Mirror depends on if a staircase is on route to the location of the Mirror? We always like an estimate of how many guests, we can then bring along an estimated number of rolls of print paper.
The prints all have a border or frame, the style of this is best coordinated with the event theme or colours. It’s also nice to have a caption such as names and a date.
It's good to know if the party has a theme, we stock many props that are theme-related such as “Harry Potter” or “Peaky Blinders” for example.
At the venue we need a single 13amp wall socket nearby, we add we do carry extension leads. It’s also handy if we have some space for a props table. A trestle table is the best, we carry a selection of tables also. If that’s an issue, no worries we can squeeze in most corners.
We have current PATT electrical testing and PLL (Public Liability) certificates ready for your venue. These are available upon request; we can send these directly to your event planner.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are different types of Magic Mirror, we have a choice for customers (first come first served). We have a beautiful almost 6 feet tall Cheval Mirror with an elegant White and Silver filigree frame, with a huge 70” touch screen and it takes FULL-LENGTH pictures as well as GROUP pictures. Foliage, fairy lights or garlands may be added around the Mirror Frame to personalise your party theme. We also have a very modern minimalist style Mirror. The different Mirrors give different functionality and style.

Our newest Mirror is over 6 feet tall, has lots of choices for entertainment and is very heavy. We have a new Mirror that adds little QR codes onto the pictures so that guest can download the picture to a phone in a flash. We are able to brand or personalise our Mirror for the event. Floating pink heart confetti or animated falling glitter is very popular.

Many people ask me about “Infinite prints.” Well firstly, we don’t print little strip pictures like a photobooth (unless by request). All our pictures are glossy postcard-sized; they pop out of the printer in about 8 seconds. We are generous with our prints and your limits are generally the time booked, the time it takes to print and the amount of paper we bring to an event. We think we would say “no” to a silly request and we are pleased to say that has not happened yet.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We love parties, what more can we say. Our job is lots of fun with happy party-goers. It’s great to be surrounded by lots of happy guests. We are pleased that the pictures we generate are of wonderful quality. This creates lots of fantastic memories.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We all have had a lot of fun at all our bookings through Add to Event. If it’s a small party we sometimes hold back a few props for later. The advantage is that more than 2 sets of prints are produced because returning guests select different props.
The record for the number of people in a single print is currently held by 60 teenagers in a single picture at a 13th birthday party in Rugeley.
We love theme parties; we were once invited to a street theme party at Alton Towers. For this event, we converted one of our Magic Mirrors into a red public phone box. All the guests loved having pictures taken with the red phone box.
