What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don’t always go with the cheapest-
In my experience my customers prefer a quality spirit, and ones they’ve not tried before, an excellent range on the back bar is key.
Always give new business a chance, as even the best of the best started somewhere,
And new businesses always try so hard to please their customers just like older established businesses but tend not to get bookings as they’ve not yet got reviews.
Ask about the drinks and the prices they will be serving.
And lastly, it’s always the icing on the cake when suppliers get reviews, so always try to do this for them.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I spent thirty plus years in the wines and spirits industry as a manager for different companies and it was my career and also my passion, knowing that one day I wanted to have my own business in this sector. My dad always knew this, as he had his own business. Sadly he passed away in 2015, but he made my dream came true by leaving me the money to set up MeSo Thirsty, sadly he isn’t around to see it. But his memory and his drive pushes me through hard times to achieve the best I possibly can.

Hands down I would totally recommend Add to Event for any new or established business to use. My bookings are varied from small gatherings to larger ones like weddings.
