What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a precise quote for the event they have in mind, ideally, we need the event date, a brief explanation of the event and host, location, whether you are looking for indoor/outdoor supplier, number of guests and how you intend to pay for the bar, ie will it be a cash bar, or will you pre-pay for the bar? From this information, we can put together a quote that will suit your needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

From a customer perspective, which I have been on many occasions, I would be keen to know the experience the company has in catering for events similar to the one I would be holding. I would also want to know what they can offer that makes them stand out a little more from other providers. I would also like to hear about their product knowledge and their corporate client base. I would also look closely at the pricing. Too cheap - usually is.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Prosecco Trucks were started in 2017 after working for over 25 years within the city corporate world where I organised many corporate and client events. We have now drawn all this experience to create small mobile bars that offer great drinks and pride ourselves on our service. We are professional but fun, we include your guests and make the bar part of your event, not an addition. We will take on any event and provide quality drinks combined with the best service around. We are proud of our client base with many repeat bookings.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had several events through Add to Event. The last one was Renegade Craft which was a large American craft fair which ran annual markets predominantly in the US. We provide them with a bar and staff for 2 days at the very last minute. The event was a great success, meeting with local businesses as well as incorporating the US side which, having sent a fully working truck to the US features in our business a great deal. We made some great contacts from many areas including the film industry and fashion. We received great feedback and looking to potentially attend one of their fairs in the US with our vehicle located out there.
