What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide an accurate and tailored quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, event timings, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting and an idea of the kind of music/vibe they are looking for.
From this, we can use our experience and expertise to create a bespoke quote for their event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider what timings they usually play - i.e what you will get for your money. Ask the provider about the equipment they use and make sure they are able to provide everything so you do not have to worry about this and check testimonials - these are the surest way to see how people have felt when dealing with this provider in the past. Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Pop up Piano was created by Elliot Porter after he spent many years playing in piano bars around the UK and in Europe. Elliot loved the concept of taking requests from guests as it was interactive and fun so he thought he would develop a brand he could take to weddings and events.
' I loved the concept of the old-style piano bars and wanted to modernise this concept. By adding music menus, it made it interactive and fun and was an attractive addition to any event'.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had lots of successful bookings through Add to Event. Probably the best one so far was a piano party in Surrey in a beautiful house in the summer of 2019. Everything about the event was great, the communication beforehand, the location and the fact that they had a beautiful grand piano for me to play. We had such a good time they asked me to stay longer and play later into the night, which I was very happy to do. I enjoy working with Add to Event as it's a great platform that opens up many avenues for my business.
